Spectacle frames- tips on choosing the right one

So you need to wear glasses. A neat pair of glasses can actually enhance your features or compensate for your not- so- perfect facial features to make you look good. Frames first. These are basically either plastic, metal-rimmed or half eyes, with a whole range of permutations and colors, couture designs as well as conservative styles.

Here’s how you can choose the correct spectacle frame for your face:
Color of the frames:Fair persons should opt for pastel shades, clear or metal frames, leaving the horn-rims and dramatic shades for people with a dark complexion. Basically, as regards frame color, emphasis can be made on eye color by echoing it in a deeper shade, or the frames can match the hair color.

Selecting the shape of the frames according to the shape of the face
Oval face: The oval face is the ideal face with perfectly balanced proportions. Any shape of frame looks good on it. However you can try for spectacle frames that are as wide as (or wider than) the broadest part of the face, or walnut-shaped frames that are not too deep or too narrow.
Round face: A round face has curvilinear lines with the width and length of the face in the same proportions. To make the face appear thinner and longer, try angular narrow spectacle frames to lengthen the face, a clear bridge that widens the eyes and frames that are wider than they are deep, such as a rectangular shape.
Long face: The long face is longer than it is wide and has a long straight cheek line and sometimes a longish nose. To make the face appear shorter and more balanced, try frames that have a top-to-bottom depth, decorative or contrasting temples that add width to the face or a low bridge to shorten the nose.
Square face: A square face has a strong jaw line and a broad forehead, plus the width and length are in the same proportions. To make the square face look longer and soften the angles, try narrow frame styles, frames that have more width than depth and narrow ovals.

Heart-shaped face or a triangle face: A heart-shaped face has a very wide top third and a very small bottom third. To minimize the width of the top of the face, try frames that are wider at the bottom, very light colors and materials and rimless frame styles.

Your face shape. Determine whether your face is round, square, oval or heart.a. For round shape, choose angular frames. Cats eyes lenses with rounded ends (not pointed) are the most flattering. This will visually slim your cheek bones. For square face, choose wide glasses which will focus the attention on the corner of the eye.
