Drive back pain away by drinking enough water

Water is the cheapest and the best natural resource and even though it is freely available, people simply forget to drink sufficient amounts of it. Not keeping oneself properly hydrated often leads to sluggishness, dulled senses and a general sense of fatigue; it can even bring about headaches, back-pain, joint pains and other ailments.

Though the causes of backaches could be many- bad posture, improper sitting and standing positions, age, arthritis, etc., dehydration as one of the reasons cannot be ruled out. David Seah, in his post The Healing Power of Water has related how he got rid of back-pain, simply, by drinking more water. He has also provided various links to the sources which ascertain the fact that drinking requisite amount of water can actually help alleviate pains. Quoting from his post verbatim:
I had been probably doing less than 24 oz of liquid a day for several weeks, since I was just not feeling that thirsty. I drank water throughout the next day as well, and you know what? I felt better. The crackly pain in my back went away after about 12 hours. The knife-like pain in my right shoulder turned into a regular throbbing. I felt…juicier! Apparently I had been turning my muscles into beef jerky by not drinking enough water. The numbness and spasms in my arms and hands have also started to fade away.

I knew that drinking water was good for you, but I had never bothered to find out what could go wrong when you are a pint or two low.

So next time around, when that throbbing pain in the back strikes you unawares, before assessing other possible reasons for your pain make sure that you are drinking adequate amounts of water.

The Simplest Prevention and Cure -The body needs at least two quarts of water daily. Water itself as opposed to caffeine-containing fluids and alcoholic beverages that further dehydrate the body. Water should be taken at regular intervals. Its intake should become a habit. One cannot rely on the thirst perception to recognize the urgency to drink water. As we grow older, we lose our thirst perception. We begin not to recognize that we are thirsty. My rule of thumb: for every ten 8-ounce glasses of water one should add about 1/2-1/4 teaspoon of salt to the daily diet; if the food is already salty, the lesser amount. If the food is bland, the full measure. Frequent cramps in the leg muscles should be taken to mean salt shortage in the body.

when you drink magnetized water you are tackling your problem from inside and outside at the same time. Magnetized water is absorbed into the blood steam through the bowel wall. It is then very rapidly distributed around the whole body.

Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.

Home remedies for sleeplessness

The day dawns beautifully for those who have had a night of good sleep. But the same day drags on for those who have spent a disturbing, sleepless night. Sleep is a biological necessity even as eating and drinking are. Sufficient sleep renders a person normally sociable, lively and high-spirited. It’s a nature’s way of rejuvenating the person for the next day. Realize all this, and make sleep a physiological habit. The consequences of long time sleep deprivation can be very grave. Lack of sleep takes its toll on the skin and hair. It causes acne-breakouts and makes one look aged and haggard beyond years. Experts opine that during sleep as our metabolic rate falls, blood goes to those areas which need the most repairing. This also steps up the production of collagen and keratin, which aid the regeneration of skin cells and help resist premature ageing. So for a younger looking and a problem free skin you need to have a good quality of sleep every night.

Pore shrinking mask recipes from home

A face with large open pores when seen from close quarters doesn’t look so good. While it’s quite common for oily skins to have a tendency towards open pores, an attack of pimples also leaves ugly scars and open pores behind.  Even though the scars may fade away after some time, open pores appear to be more obstinate and hardly show any signs of shrinking.  Age also takes its toll by giving an uneven/pigmented tone to the skin and making the open pores more prominent. Heredity could also be a contributing factor in determining your pore size. It’s not easy to get rid of these pores or shrink them completely or permanently using serums, lotions or face packs. Even resorting to drastic chemical/surgical procedures at the dermatologist’s isn’t quite capable of giving satisfactory results.  Nevertheless, you can try and minimize their appearance at least temporarily with clever makeup and a few natural skin care masks such as these: * Cleanse your face with a mild ...
