Homemade eye cream for dark circles

dark circlesDark circles around the eyes make them look lifeless and give you a sickly look and an expressionless face. Though these can be concealed to a certain extent by the deft use of makeup, it is possible to prevent their formation by proper and regular habits. Late nights, irregular food habits, wrong reading habits, heredity, stress and anxiety โ€“ all these could be the culprits in giving you those panda-like patchy eyes spoiling your otherwise pretty face. So analyze and work on these and try your best to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Skin under the eyes is extremely thin and the only part of the human body that has no moisture or oil glands and hence prone to get wrinkles quickly. This lack of natural protection should be compensated for by paying special attention to the skin care around the eyes. Massaging the eyes with warm vegetable oil helps in getting a smoother look. A good almond lanolin cream must be applied every night around the eyes to nourish the skin around the eyes. Almond is a natural bleach and an excellent skin food. Hereโ€™s the recipe for a home made eye cream to nourish and lighten the skin around your eyes.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon lanolin (PURE LANOLIN, 100% Pure Australian Anhydrous Lanolin Pharmaceutical Grade 2 oz.)
1ยฝ tablespoon almond oil
1 teaspoon soybean flour (Soy Powder)
2 teaspoons cold water

Method:
Melt lanolin on medium heat. Add almond oil to it. Remove the ensuing thick paste from heat. Add soybean powder and cold water and stir it for ten minutes.

Application:
Apply gently on the skin around the eyes every night. You should start from the inner sides of the eyes moving towards the pulse point. Use delicate gentle movements with your ring finger, without tugging. Wipe off gently after 15- 20 minutes using a wet cotton wool. Also remember that cream application for dark circles must be wiped off before going to bed to avoid puffy swollen eyes.

Almost everyone loves a pair of bright, beautiful eyes. But aging, sun exposure, the wrong make-up, and repeated movements like laughing, crying or blinking can greatly affect your eyes and cause numerous problems like dark circles, eye bags, puffiness, wrinkles or crow's feet to appear.

This homemade eye cream promises to give the user terrific looking eyes by strengthening the tiny vessels in the area, thereby removing fine lines and wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles and other problems. Dramatic results are supposedly seen in 30 days or less, leaving the user with a fresher and more vibrant look.

I buy liquid foundation that is YELLOW in color. Yellow will offset the dark circles. I usually put this on first, then put my regular color foundation on top of it. Helps so much!

try using an eye creme to reduce the darkness. BeautiControl has an eye creme for people in their 20s called Eye X Cell. I use it and have definately seen a difference, but results may take up to a week or two to become noticable. So until results become visible use concealer under your eyes that is a shade lighter than your foundation. When applying concealer always tap it in with your fingers or makeup brush or sponge, rubbing concealer in loosens the skin and breaks blood vessels which will make your problem much worse.

Eye cream: this is a special moisturizer designed especially for the delicate skin around your eyes. Use an amount about half the size of a grain of uncooked rice (yes, very little). Rub this between both ring fingers and then gently tap it on the bone surrounding the eye moving all the way up to above your brows. Never rub this all over your eyelids and only use it in the morning. Eyes age the most and the fastest so eye cream will help prevent premature aging. You should use one even if you are young and don't have wrinkles yet as it is a preventative measure. When you start to notice wrinkles around your eyes, you will need to add a night eye cream to your routine.
-Yogurt mask: this will help with your acne. Go to the grocery store and pick up a lemon, orange, or pineapple flavored yogurt (make sure the yogurt isn't the kind with fruit at the bottom but is actually that fruit flavor) and then apply it all over your clean face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. You can then rinse it off with lukewarm water. The active cultures in yogurt will help neutralize the bacteria in your pores so it will help heal any blemishes you have currently and also help prevent new ones. The citric acid from the lemon, orange, or pineapple will also help dissolve the top layer of your skin (just like using a scrub to exfoliate but much more gentle). You can do this every day if your skin is really bad or just 1-2 times a week as a preventative measure.

Eye cream helps prevent built-up blood from wandering into your skin. After wandering blood is broken down in the skin, hemoglobin is what gives dark circles their black/blue color. The more new cells your body creates, the thicker your skin will and the less noticeable dark eye circles are. More hyaluronic acid in the skin allows it to retain more moisture, which plumps up the skin, smooths out wrinkles and fine lines, and makes your skin much thicker.

Pore shrinking mask recipes from home

A face with large open pores when seen from close quarters doesnโ€™t look so good. While itโ€™s quite common for oily skins to have a tendency towards open pores, an attack of pimples also leaves ugly scars and open pores behind.  Even though the scars may fade away after some time, open pores appear to be more obstinate and hardly show any signs of shrinking.  Age also takes its toll by giving an uneven/pigmented tone to the skin and making the open pores more prominent. Heredity could also be a contributing factor in determining your pore size. Itโ€™s not easy to get rid of these pores or shrink them completely or permanently using serums, lotions or face packs. Even resorting to drastic chemical/surgical procedures at the dermatologistโ€™s isnโ€™t quite capable of giving satisfactory results.  Nevertheless, you can try and minimize their appearance at least temporarily with clever makeup and a few natural skin care masks such as these: * Cleanse your face with a mild ...
