Homemade Anti-wrinkle face masks

woman with wrinklesWe often hear women saying that they can put up with blackheads on their nose, a few blemishes on the face or even some discoloration on their upper lips but wrinkles are something they dread as they believe that they are the harbinger of decline, signaling that “one is over the hill.” Sure, there are procedures like chemical peels, botox, face-lifts etc to wipe out those offending lines but they not only prove to be very expensive in the long run but have several side-effects associated with them. The efficacy of those over-the-counter anti-wrinkle creams is also doubtful. Even if you are not blessed with the best of genes, the oldest, clichéd and the most sure-fire ways of keeping wrinkles at bay is adequate sun-protection, nutritious diet, regular exercise, a stress-free lifestyle and proper sleep.

It’s a fact that you cannot get rid of wrinkles with homemade masks, nonetheless some of these face packs help rejuvenate, revitalize and give your skin a firmer texture.

Honey anti-wrinkle mask

Ingredients:

1 ½ tbsp honey

Remove make-up and moisturize before going to bed, and try to sleep on your back, if not possible get satin pillow case covers.

Forehead wrinkles can add years (in appearance) to your life. Forehead wrinkles can be avoided, treated, and made look smaller given the right game plan.An easy one you may want to try right after breakfast, is egg whites. Yes, those rubbery eggwhites can help fight forehead wrinkles! Rub these to your forehead a few times a week, and watch the nutrients fight the target wrinkles.Buy yourself some coconuts. Take the juice / milk and massage it all over your face. Be sure to really rub it in. This is also another food remedy to help alleviate forehead wrinkles.apply pineapple juice to your face and rub gently into the forehead wrinkles. This may be the best wrinkle solution of the three, however it can get quite sticky! Pineapple juice is a good overall wrinkle solution, but is fantastic at fighting those forehead wrinkles.

For wrinkles, try using olive oil as a serum or applying cocoa butter to your skin. You can also make an exfoliating scrub with honey and sugar. Mix equal parts of both until you make a paste and then apply to any rough area on your skin. Rinse away to reveal clean and soft skin that doesn’t cost a fortune.

Facial exercises DO NOT cause wrinkles if done correctly - they actually help to make women and men look younger for longer, without a surgical facelift, by toning facial muscles. Surgical facelifts can be effective, but this type of cosmetic surgery is expensive, and can be traumatic. Why not try the free facial exercises as an alternative to a surgical facelift. The free facial exercises will not be as radical as the facelift, but will assist in achieving a younger looking face, without wrinkles and lines.

Buy a gentle facial scrub or exfoliate and use once a week to keep the of your skin soft and smooth. This will also increase the blood flow to the top layers of skin giving it a rosy glow and help encourages cell renewal. Alternatively you can get the same effect by lathering up a facial wash on your skin using a clean shaving brush
